Danny Collins this spring, marks the directorial debut of comedy scribe Dan Fogelman (Crazy, Stupid, Love; Last Vegas). 

Based on a true story, Pacino plays a gray-haired rocker who has seen better days. However, his life changes when his manager (Christopher Plummer) reveals a 40-year-old undelivered fan letter written to Danny by John Lennon. Danny embarks on a journey to reunite with his lost son (Bobby Cannavale), as well as write a few tunes on the ivories.
