Sony and TriStar presents the first official trailer of 'The Lady In The Van', the upcoming biography comedy drama movie written by Alan Bennett and directed by Nicholas Hytner.
It stars Maggie Smith, Dominic Cooper, James Corden, Jim Broadbent, Frances de la Tour, Roger Allam and Samuel Barnett.

Maggie Smith stars as the homeless woman who lived in Alan Bennett's driveway for 15 years, in the film of his hit West End Play
Plot:
"A man forms an unexpected bond with a transient woman living in her car that's parked in his driveway."
Maggie Smith stars in this true life story as Miss Shepherd, an eccentric homeless woman whom Bennett befriended in the Seventies before allowing her to temporarily park her Bedford van in the driveway of his Camden home. She stayed there for 15 years.
